A 19-year-old Roslindale man involved in a Fitchburg shootout on July 3 has been charged with murder relating to the same incident.

The West Roxbury Neighborhood Council unanimously approved the LLC-to-Corporation License Transfer Application for the new owners of the Vintage Restaurant, 1430 VFW Pkwy, last week.

It appears that Mel Gibson will be starring in a movie to be partly filmed in Roslindale. But the filmmakers won’t be able to use one site they had originally hoped for, thanks to Gibson’s notorious hateful comments.

In the next few days, residents and drivers on Whitford Road will have to start slowing down. In a meeting last Wednesday, Boston City Councilor Rob Consalvo announced that up to seven all-way stop signs will be placed on the high-traffic residential cut-through in Roslindale.
